The Austria Pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka caused a sensation! At the inaugural World Expolympics Awards 2025, the Austrian Pavilion won Silver in the main category Best Small Pavilion and Bronze in the subcategory Activation & Engagement! The awards recognise pavilions that inspire through design, visitor experience and innovation, and were presented by a jury of experts. In addition, the wooden loop and spiral sculpture of the Austrian pavilion at EXPO 2025 were awarded the special prize of the Lower Austrian Timber Construction Award 2025 in the category “Public and Municipal Buildings” as well as the Austrian Green Planet Building Technology Award.
