What makes your innovation unique?
AKEMI.suntec is a holistic, 3-part system. An optical module on the roof or façade captures sunlight, focusses it and guides it through the building via optical fibres. Inside, the light is distributed by means of unique light objects and installations, some of which are printed in 3D.

AKEMI rethinks light in all dimensions – utilising the latest technologies and materials. Since 2020, the Viennese company has deployed AKEMI.suntec to bring healthy sunlight into interior spaces all around the world. Light is distributed throughout the room using 3D-printed light objects. This increases well-being and reduces CO2 by eliminating the need for artificial light during the day.
