Turbulence cancelling is an Austrian technology that detects atmospheric turbulence in real time and uses special flaplets or existing control surfaces to reduce turbulence effects by over 80% – especially with respect to vertical movements. It thereby also provides a key technology for the prospective use of environmentally friendly eVTOL aircraft in urban areas.

About the company
Turbulence Solutions, founded in 2018 and based on research conducted at TU Wien, develops innovative turbulence-cancelling technology. Active internationally since 2021, the company acquired its first customer in Slovakia in 2022. The company with its 13 employees is 100% Austrian-owned.
