What makes your innovation unique?
The 3D Printing and Biofabrication research group at Vienna University of Technology has developed a high-resolution brain from a 3D printer. This technology makes it possible to, for the first time, create brain phantoms that simulate realistic signals from human nerve pathways and thereby improve the development and optimisation of computer models for MRI.
Advantages
• This model improves research into Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis.
• Obtained data can subsequently be used to derive more precise statements.
