The Asia Day 2023 on December 5th at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce was the get-together of the Austrian economy for Asian business: high-profile speakers, information stands from eleven Asian embassies and the OeKB, consultations with nine business delegates and more than 500 participants.

"If you are concerned with the future, trends and opportunities of tomorrow, there is no way around Asia. From capital-rich high-tech countries like Japan or South Korea to the innovative countries of Southeast Asia to the two giants China and India – with our Asia Day, we are showing why now is the perfect time to direct the economic focus on Asia," explained the Vice President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKÖ), Philipp Gady, at the opening of Asia Day 2023 in the WKÖ.

"The economic boom in the Asia-Pacific region is associated with great opportunities for our export economy. We are making this a focus of our foreign trade policy. With our programs, such as go-international or the Global Incubator Network GIN, we provide targeted support to companies and successful long-distance markets to process," says Austrian Federal Minister of Labour and Economy Martin Kocher.
