The expo site is situated on Yumeshima, an artificial island west of Osaka.
Covering an area of 1.55 km², the venue will have a pavilion area in its center, water in the southern part and green areas in the western part.

You will need a passport that is valid for the duration of your stay.
Austrian citizens may stay in Japan for a continuous period of six months without a visa and without exercising gainful employment. However, from the 3rd month onwards, an extension must be applied for on time at the responsible Japanese immigration authority. (As of January 2024, Source BMEIA)
